Business Support Clerk

£16000 - £18000

Our client is seeking two confident and capable secretaries within their Business Support Team. You will have a proven intellectual ability, commercial approach, excellent interpersonal skills and, most of all, the drive to exceed our client's expectations. Salary: £16,000k to £18,000k (pro rata)

Part time: 34.5 hours a week & 29.5 hours a week

Location: Spalding

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Business Support Administrator and Business Support Clerks
  • Filing across all departments as required
  • Operate case management system
  • Complete all new client Anti-Money Laundering Checks
  • Create new clients on the case management system
  • Storing and retrieving deeds, Wills, EPAs including databasing
  • Collecting and returning work as required by specific departments
  • Deal with queries and enquiries from fee earners, Team Co-ordinators and secretaries
  • Deal with queries from clients/companies regarding location of deeds etc
  • To assist the Operations team when cover is required, to include (but not limited to) operating switchboard, handling incoming and outgoing post, hospitality and file archiving
  • Assist Operations & Support Manager with routine and ad hoc tasks/projects
  • To provide support in a professional and friendly manner
  • Ensure the confidentiality of all the firm’s and clients’ documentation and information
