Our client, a Long Eaton based accountancy practice providing services to a number of small and medium sized business's, is looking to recruit an experienced and hands on Payroll Manager to manage a small team and process payroll from beginning to end.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Communication with clients via email and telephone
  • Processing weekly and monthly payroll using sage and other cloud software (Xero & Intuit)
  • Registering new payrolls and pension schemes
  • Issuing clients with payroll reports
  • Complying with RTI requirements
  • Making submissions to pension companies
  • Dealing with payroll related queries

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent


  • Proven experience as a payroll manager.
  • Proven experience managing a team.
  • Payroll software experience essential - Sage (Quickbooks beneficial).
  • Experience processing a busy payroll.
  • Experience with pensions and HMRC.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail/accuracy.
