Lenton, Nottingham. Must be located locally due to initial training being in the office

Home working available. Must still be available to commute to the Nottingham office

37 hours a week, Monday - Friday. Flexible Hours. 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm

£24,000 - £27,000 per annum, D.O.E

Our client is looking for an experienced candidate to maintain and develop management information systems and reporting in line with external contractual obligations & internal requirements. Develop & maintain in-house and third-party propriety Management Information systems which are used across the organisation


  • Ensure that the organisations reporting requirements are met
  • Provide technical support for all database applications
  • Develop and maintenance of new database applications
  • Liaise with customers to obtain meaningful requirements, reporting and application requirements
  • External reporting and associated administration, including building effective relationships
  • Contract monitoring compliance, delivery, and realisation
  • Policies and Procedures administration
  • Statistical analysis
  • Inform support, development and updating. Producing Inform reports
  • Research alternative methods to increase the effectiveness of systems
  • Provide systems expertise in a given field within the team
  • Evaluate large datasets for quality and accuracy working with support and operations to correct data quality errors. Determine root cause for data quality errors and make recommendations for long-term solutions
  • Lead on the gathering, collation, validation, preparation, and exchange of data and information for internal and external audiences and for audit purposes
  • Create and maintain regular reports for managers, other internal teams and external partners
  • Develop and continuously improve performance reports across all operational areas to ensure compliance, integrity and accuracy and provide assurance to the organisation
  • Analyse and interpret varied and complex information from several sources
  • Contribute to change and transformation in a large organisation
  • Pro-actively monitor measure, analyse, execute, track and report on data quality issues


  • Experience in a similar position is ESSENTIAL
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel/SQL is ESSENTIAL
  • Experience of using and extracting meaningful data from systems
  • Experience of managing and analysing data
  • Advanced Excel (including formulae, reporting capabilities and mathematical equations)
  • Excellent understanding of contractual metrics, KPI’s and outcome measures, Knowledge of Access, SQL tables
  • Excellent communication skills written, verbal, aural and electronic
  • Report writing and statistical analysis
