Customer Service Team Member

Job description

I am working on behalf of a client in NG15 who are on the lookout for a customer service representative to work immediately during the companies busiest period of the year. They require 4 temporary staff members for a minimum of 1 month, two to start on the 7th March and two to start on the 9th March.

Summary:

  • Hours: 37.5 per week
  • Full time: Monday - Friday
  • Pay: £9.11 per hour

Job Purpose:

  • To provide effective hands on support to the web administration function to the business
  • Process internet orders
  • To establish an efficient, friendly, helpful, and welcoming approach with every caller proving them with a memorable level of service, which promotes customer loyalty and recommendation
  • To ensure that a consistently outstanding level of customer care is provided during all telephone conversations and any other forms of communication
  • To support and contribute to a culture of providing excellence in service to all customers
  • To assist with general administrative duties as required
  • To assist with all channel order as required
  • Assist with telephone calls from customers that require assistance when placing online orders
  • To assist on the telephone

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage and download. Check and input web orders throughout the day
  • Respond to enquiry emails
  • Respond to complaint emails
  • Respond to complaint/query messages on chat
  • Assisting with overflow of calls as directed
  • To ensure a consistently high level of service is provided by
  • Ensure that any incoming calls of complaint, follow up or enquiry are dealt with promptly or routed to the relevant person/department efficiently

Experience:

  • Computer literate to a competent level (MS office, including a good understanding the Excel and Word)
  • Competent in the use of email and internet
  • Incoming telephone order taking and customer service experience
  • Experience of dealing with the public

  • Attention to detail – accurate and thorough

  • Bright, friendly and enthusiastic telephone manner
  • Good listening skills
