Our client, the market leader in the UK for their field, are seeking to appoint an experienced, confident and inherently proactive Account Manager. You will become an integral part of the sales process, contributing to the continued success of this vibrant and tenacious team!
- Take responsibility for a portfolio of an existing 100-200 accounts, making outbound calls to maintain relationships and securing regular orders
- Negotiation of pricing to ensure the maintenance regular customers
- Pricing and raising quotations for new and existing customers
- Sourcing of other products with suppliers, negotiating prices
- Placing orders for customers, processing requests and arranging delivery
- Keep customers up to date on new product proposals and upsell on additional products
- Take responsibility for updating websites and portals with product changes and new products
- Completing specification and technical sheets
- Ensure customers receive a high standard of customer service and aftercare, with follow up and courtesy calls
- Experience in an Account Management / Client facing role is ESSENTIAL
- First class planning and organisational skills
- Excellent oral and written communications kills
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- The ability to work calmly under pressure with determination
- Ability to work on own initiative and be self motivated to arrange daily diary and work as part of a team without constant supervision
- A proactive approach to creative projects
- A personable and professional character that will allow you to build client relationships
