Responsibilities:

  • Material Planning

  • Data Reporting, Interpretation and Trending (Excel)
  • Sending purchase orders to suppliers & following up to update on lead times
  • Updating bespoke front office system for all purchases, including booking in of stock & allocation to customers’ orders
  • Overseeing all paperwork & ensuring procedures are adhered to for all purchases
  • Responsible for reconciling stock & performing stock takes
  • Updating other areas of the business on the purchase status of orders

Skills/Experience:

Inventory Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager who will have overall responsibility for the day to day control of Stock. Managing the Inventory Team to ensure stock is kept accurate at all times will be a core focus of this role. 

You will also have involvement in customer projects which will require Inventory control and to act as the point of contact for the client. You will have interaction with all logistic partners to ensure they manage stock to ensure control and accuracy is maintained. Involvement in stock counts and the production of Stock Reports is also required.

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Day to Day management of the Inventory Team

• Manage Stock inventory

• Carry out missing stock investigations

• Ensure replenishment orders are shipped out within the business OLA

• Identification of Dual Use items and assistance with Commercial Invoices for Export purposes

• When required direct, optimise and co-ordinate the full order cycle

Dispatch Supervisor

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking to appoint two dynamic and driven Dispatch Supervisors with proven experience to be responsible for their warehousing function and team. You will ensure stock is received, stored, etc to meet business demands. Reporting into the Operations Director, in a fast moving 24 x 7 warehouse environment, you will be able to work across multiple sites as required and will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, together with a genuine passion for ensuring customer satisfaction targets are met!

Salary: £20,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all Warehouse functions across the business

• Ensuring stock is controlled and all orders are picked and shipped correctly

• Responsible for maintaining stock accuracy via regular stock takes

• Responsible for the Picking and packing stock function for orders to SLA’s

• Provide late or early shift cover

• Ensure ISO Quality measurements are met and a "serviceexcellence" ethos is promoted

Logistics & Inventory Controller

Our client is seeking to appoint an experienced Logistics & Inventory Manager will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Logistics and Inventory Controllers, having a long-term strategy to develop and grow with the business needs.

Within this role owned stock is maintained during movement/s of both domestic and worldwide shipments, managing a team of between 5 - 10 people to ensure stock is kept accurate at all times. The control and compliance of stock movements to Customer premises (both Domestic and International) as well as in and out of Forward Stock Locations and Hub’s.

Involvement in Business Take-on and Customer projects that requires Inventory control and to act as the point of contact for the client. Interaction with ALL logistic partners to ensure they are meeting SLA and contractual obligations, as well as overseeing those costs associated.

You will also b responsible for stock audits and counts to capture any discrepancies and follow up any actions to ensure continuous improvements are made. An understanding of all types of export documentation including Commercial Invoices, EUR1’s, ATR’s, Certificates of Origin, Dangerous Goods Certificates, Known Consignor Certificates, Letters of Credit, etc, to ensure smooth on time delivery of goods.

The preparation and submission of export licence applications (SIELS). The recording and monitoring of licence usage to ensure correct compliance with export control regulations. The co-ordination of ECOOGEL audits.
