Technical Sales Support Advisor

Our client is seeking to appoint an individual who has worked within a team environment where customer focus is of the utmost importance, and where the need for attention to detail, accuracy, expedience and ability to interpret drawing and plans is required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support in new business development in UK and Europe
  • Business and customer relationship development
  • Product and material research & development, including sourcing in a quality-compliant way
  • Develop, encourage and establish solid business relationships with customers, including developing and maintaining contacts where necessary
  • Provide a fast and accurate response to customer queries regarding product range, quotes, prices order status, stock availability, lead times, deliveries and discrepancies
  • Process sample requests and monitor sample quality, safe packaging and despatch
  • Follow up any enquiries in order to encourage development of business relationships including potential business figures and collate information as and when requested by the Technical Sales Support Manager
  • Create and regularly update customer database designed to be used by Sales Department
  • Prepare company and product information, brochures and samples when necessary
  • Support the Technical Sales Support Manager in developing new business contacts
  • Ensure effective running of Company Sales Systems and Procedures including SAP and bespoke internal procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expereince in a similar role is ESSENTIAL
  • Experience of working in an automotive manufacturing environment would be advantageous
  • Pro-active, approachable and outgoing attitude
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good level of keyboard skills, grammar, literacy and numeracy including developing spreadsheets
  • Good knowledge and experience of Excel and Word, letter/fax layouts and wording.

Our client is seeking to appoint a highly numerate, analytic individual to take ownership of the development & execution of various account plans and joint business plans! Salary: £20,000 - £23,000 per annum, with a performance related bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Key Account Manager Ecommerce and the National Account manager with up to date and relevant data analytics for their specific account bases and categories
  • Develop detailed proposals, price analysis & promotional materials
  • Support and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers, to generate new business
  • Support multiple aspects of the E-commerce and National Accounts business throughout the different platforms, ensuring sales targets are met and brand strategy is correctly implemented
  • Expedite the resolution of customer issues and complaints
  • Assist in the coordination of sales effort with marketing, sales management and logistics
  • Support customers with open days and events, to continually promote the brand and product ranges

This is a graduate position, however one to two years of experience in a commercial environment is essential!

IT Trainer & Applications Support Specialist

Our client is seeking to appoint an individual with a flair for training and technical problem solving who thinks outside of the box! You will focus on providing a best-in-class IT training and a proactive user support service in order to maximise user engagement!

Location: Spalding, Lincolnshire

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 Per Annum

Responsibilities:

  • To deliver IT induction and fulfil ongoing training needs, providing new starter assistance as required
  • To prepare and deliver demonstrations, application training/training resources and skills transfer sessions regarding new and existing systems as required
  • Training/skills transfer to other IT staff/service providers in relevant aspects of new applications (cascade training)
  • To implement an appropriate IT competency framework with relevant training/training resources and systems to track and report individual progress
  • Specialist application support in relation to applications support calls (commercially sourced and in-house developed solutions)
  • Structured testing of new and updated systems, documentation of results, re-testing as appropriate
  • To identify opportunities and solutions to ensure IT systems are fully embedded and the intended benefits achieved (i.e. identify training needs, ensure effective skills transfer to key users, external trainers and ensure the outsourced helpdesk has appropriate knowledge to support skills transfer and monitor to ensure training and support is effective)

Skills/Attributes/Experience:

  • Minimum of three years' demonstrable experience in IT training and application support
  • Previous experience of working in either an Accountancy firm or Solicitors would be desirable
  • Experience of working with stakeholders/representatives at all levels and demonstrable ability to present and discuss at a senior level within the firm
  • Excellent understanding of technology and its impact on the business
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products -i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience of legal application software is highly desirable
  • High level of understanding of technical issues which may affect the business including, but not limited to, identification of new solutions
