Sales Manager

Our client are seeking to appoint a driven, commercially-astute and proactive Sales Manager to take ownership and drive forward sales across all products in their portfolio. You will demonstrate commercial acumen and have a real passion for sales, whilst possessing the ability to stretch yourself and exceed targets.

Location: Eastwood

£28,000 per annum + company bonus
9am-5pm, Mon-Fri

  • Create and follow up business leads
  • Management and coordination of sales activities

Skills/Attributes/Experience:

  • Experience in sales is very desirable, however this role is suitable for candidates looking to take the next step!

Regional Sales Manager

Our client is seeking to appoint a dynamic and tenacious individual with working knowledge & understanding of polyethylenic piping (PEP) to become an integral member of their external sales team to further strengthen their organisation and promote a number of exciting new and innovative products to the market!

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

  • Management of existing UK customer base
  • Continuous development of new business opportunities and customers
  • Preparation of sales figures and reports
  • Technical presentation and product demonstration
  • Promotion of the company brand, services and values
  • Negotiation
  • Communication with customer base and colleagues
  • Responding to customer enquiries promptly and efficiently, monitoring quote progress through to conclusion
  • Proactively researching sales opportunities, organise promotions, exhibitions and demonstration days
  • Input into sales meetings, preparing figures and PowerPoint presentations as required

Skills/Attributes/Expereince:

  • A working knowledge & understanding of polyethylene pipes (PEP) is HIGHLY advantageous
  • Demonstratable record of sales is essential
  • High level of self-motivation and willingness to win
  • Comfortable with extensive UK travel and nights away
  • Excellent communicator, professional and approachable, keen to please and happy to get stuck in
  • Well organised with the ability to think on your feet and respond effectively to changing priorities
  • Able to make decisions and negotiate a deal, often thinking outside the box to reach a mutually beneficial conclusion with the customer
