Supply Chain Coordinator - Entry Level

Our client is keen to recruit a Supply Chain Co-ordinator! This is a key role in the daily operations of the Purchasing Department carrying out the processing of orders, planning and arranging logistical requirements, answering general queries and maintaining accurate records. You will cover both a defined list of responsibilities and to work within a team providing support and back up for the Materials Controller.

Salary: £20,000  per annum

Location: Annesley, Nottingham


  • Inventory management optimising stock levels and on-time delivery to customers
  • Use of ERP system and related planning tools to analyse customer requirements
  • Placing orders to production sites
  • Entering purchase orders on the ERP system
  • Negotiation and agreement of shipment dates
  • Ensuring that ERP system is kept up to date with any changes to purchase orders
  • Acknowledgement of orders to Sales team
  • Review of low volume part numbers for Category A customers
  • Responsibility for a portfolio of accounts
  • Maintenance of Order Monitoring records to assist with Supplier Development processes
  • Data analysis regarding any possible late items
  • Generation of routings (production orders) for items manufactured on-site
  • Maintenance of records for general office and shop floor suppliers
  • Assist with annual Stocktake procedures

Transport Planner

Our Client are seeking to appoint an energetic, well organised and results driven individual to join their transport team.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing route efficiency and utilising optimum disposal outlets within the area to ensure effective use of vehicles and facilities.

Location: Long Eaton

Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 per annum


  • Planning the weeks transport routes nationwide 
  • Dealing with customers, maintaining positive relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Booking deliveries
  • Routing all runs
  • Organising vehicles
  • Manage driver availability and coverage in line with legislation and company procedures to ensure that there is suitable coverage at all times
  • Ensure all administrative tasks associated with the Dispatch office are completed, including time sheets, tachograph records, payroll records, holiday rotas


  • Suitable candidates will have experience in a similar role within a Services or Logistics industry
  • You will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service
