Business Partnership & Development Manager

Our client, a household name and non-for-profit organisation, are seeking to appoint a confident and efficient individual to cover a 6 month secondment in a Business Partnership & Development Manager role. You will be motivated and comercially driven, with the ability to build relationships with commissioners and provide extensive information about the organisation's services.

Location: Based out of either Nottingham or Leicester- the majority of the role will be home based

Salary: £30,000 Per Annum

6 Month FTC Covering Secondment

  • Experience of service development with statutory and voluntary agencies and local government on a frequent and regular basis and achieving agreed outcomes

  • Experience of writing successful bids/tenders and of obtaining funding from NHS or Local Government or relevant statutory authorities

Senior Business Development Specialist

Our client, With over 30 years’ experience is one of the leading UK specialists in workplace transformation, commercial interior design, interior construction, refurbishment and interior fit out, project management and delivery, with offices based in Nottingham, Birmingham and London.

They are seeking to create a new in-house sales team and have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and sales driven business development specialist to assist in establishing the new team, in addition to contacting new B2B clients. As part of the sales team you will qualify for commission under the sales incentive scheme.

Location - Nottingham

Salary - £30,000 per annum + Incentive Scheme

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through marketing inbound leads/follow-up and strategic, high level outbound calls
  • Responsible for driving new business through booking appointments with clients who are looking to relocate or refurbish their office space
  • Working closely with the business development team on strategies for opening new networks and lead sources
  • Actively participate in team meetings, reviews, training and development as agreed with your line manager
  • To carry out any other duties within the scope of the post
  • Build and develop solid relationships with existing and new clients
  • Processing new leads through the CRM system and thoroughly checking them for duplications, establishing and contacting clients, inputting notes and working the system process correctly
  • Meeting agreed KPIs
  • Maintain and expand database of prospects within the fit-out sector
  • Operate a diary follow up system to ensure all leads are progressed
  • Send out introductory emails, case studies, brochures etc to support sales campaigns
  • Monitor and report on KPIs to include the level of activity, pipeline, new revenue business opportunities and lead generation activity
  • Research new customer and competitor activity and report findings

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

  • Educated to A level or equivalent (desirable)
  • Excellent customer service, preferably in a call centre environment
  • Proven sales background in a similar role ideally in the fit-out/refurbishment sector
  • Have demonstrable experience of working within internal sales, strategically  researching potential prospects, building relationships and generating new leads over the telephone, hitting targets
  • Good computer skills and experience in Outlook - 365, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience of using a CRM system
  • Excellent telephone presence
  • Experience of creating campaigns/strategies to reach out to new opportunities within the sector
  • Ability to build knowledge of the national geography and related property market

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to maintain and grow relationships with new business clients, property agents and consultants (architects, project managers, quantity surveyors)
  • Proactive in generating enquiries and relevant, quality new sales leads
  • Ability to quickly gain sector knowledge and insight to become an expert
  • Articulate, curious, excellent questioning skills to understand prospects needs and build relationships
  • Demonstrate good listening skills, negotiation and persuasive skills, judgement and decision making
  • Ability to manage own pipeline of callbacks and work them effectively to ensure as many appointments as possible are booked from that pipeline
  • Strong organisational and planning skills to prioritise a heavy workload
