PT Accounts Assistant (School Hours)

£7.94 - £8.97 per hour, Yearly Equivalent £10,332 - £11,661 per annum

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to be responsible for all things transactional, inputting and maintaining the company’s finance ledgers and providing relevant and timely financial information to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inputting data into all ledgers of SAGE Accounts
  • Produce and distribute of customer invoices
  • Cash collection and reconciliation of the Sales Ledger
  • Credit control
  • Processing all supplier invoices, payments and expense forms
  • Reconciliation of the Purchase Ledger to balance sheet and supplier statement reconciliations
  • Making payments
  • Prepare the monthly payroll for outsourced processing
  • Reconciliation of all Nominal ledger balance sheet accounts
  • Responding to queries and providing information when necessary

Skills / Experience / Attributes
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following qualities:

  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • AAT qualified or equivalent is desirable
  • Flexible and positive approach to their work
  • GCSE educated (Maths and English Grade C or above)
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Good organisation and time management
  • Strong with IT and Excel (Level 2 ICT certificate is desirable)
  • Personable and a team player

Finance Administrator (6 Month FTC)

£15,500 pro rata, Beeston

Our client is seeking an efficient Administrator to join their Accounts Payable team on a 6 month fixed term contract, support the Accounts Payable Manager with the accurate and timely processing of transactions in a high-volume, multinational company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coding and processing purchase ledger invoices / credit notes
  • Prepare invoices for payment, including the use of online banking and EFT uploads to set-up payments
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements and responding to internal and external queries
  • Inputting data into the accounting system with accuracy and timeliness
  • Undertake any ad-hoc projects or other duties as may reasonably be required within the jobholder’s level in the organization

Skills / Experience / Attributes
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following

  • Experience within Accounts Payable (Purchase Ledger) is desirable but is not essential
  • Some knowledge of banking processes would be advantageous
  • Strong academic background
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Works to a high level of accuracy
  • Good IT skills, particularly Excel
  • A self-starter with the ability to use initiative
  • Personable, hardworking and a team player

Sales Ledger (3 Month FTC)

3 Month FTC
£18,000 - £22,000 per annum

Our client is seeking a self-motivated individual to be responsible for all things Sales Ledger related. You will hit the ground running, ensuring current and timely invoicing of services and products to customers and associated receipt of payment in this 3 month FTC!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate completion of invoices
  • Sending out invoices in a timely manner
  • Identify problem accounts and invoices
  • Ensure we do not contract with customers who have no means of paying and mange credit limits
  • Cash postings and account reconciliations
  • Updating of cash books
  • Responding to customer queries
  • Complete month end tasks and duties
  • Maintain customer accounts and data
